SEK, Swedish Export Credit Corporation, has signed an agreement with the Polish environmental protection bank BOS Bank with the purpose of facilitating the possibilities for Swedish companies to deliver environmental technology to the Polish market.

The agreement between SEK and BOS Bank means that Swedish companies, larger as well as clusters of small companies, now in a better way can compete on the Polish market for environmental technology. SEK and BOS Bank can, within the limits of the agreement, for example assist Swedish environmental companies in covering public procurements in Poland as well as offer Swedish and Polish market players long term financial solutions for investments in environmental technology.

-   The agreement is totally in line with our ambition to further the competitiveness of Swedish companies in the global market. Swedish environmental technology is second to none and it is important that we as well as others do all that we can to facilitate the development and sales of these products. That is good for the Swedish economy as well as for the environment, says Peter Yngwe, President of SEK.

The ambition is also that SEK and BOS Bank together will be able to finance larger projects within the energy and environmental markets in Poland.

BOS Bank has 110 offices and about 1.700 employees. The bank has a clear environmental focus and has 70 engineers solely dealing with environmental projects and analysis.
