SEK moves to more efficient office building

On December 17th, SEK will be moving to Stockholm Waterfront Building. The move will give SEK a more modern and efficient office, and consequently also a better work environment. The choice of Waterfront was based on the building’s environmental profile as well as its suitable layout and location.

In December, SEK will leave its current office on Västra Trädgårdsgatan in Stockholm and move to Waterfront Building. The new office will allow SEK's staff to sit closer together, as opposed to the layout of the current office where employees are separated on a large number of floors.

- The new office will both allow and encourage cooperation between departments in a better way, which will increase organizational efficiency. In addition, the building is environmentally friendly and has a great location close to communications. These were all important criteria for us, says Peter Yngwe, CEO at SEK.

Waterfront Building is located in Västra City, next door to the Stockholm Central Station, Arlanda Express and T-Centralen. The location thus offers great conditions for communications. It is also one of the most environmentally friendly office buildings, with advanced solutions for environmental issues such as energy efficiency.
