Nicholas Anderson

Mr. Anderson, Head of SEK Advisory Services, was educated in London with a long career in finance and banking spanning 39 years. Prior to joining SEK in 2002, Mr. Anderson held the position of CEO and Managing Director of Municipality Finance Ltd. in Finland between 1991 and 2001. He is a leading expert on public and private infrastructure investments both with traditional procurement solutions and with complex solutions involving partnerships with the private sector.

Mr. Anderson has also held senior positions within Banque Indosuez (now Calyon) in Paris, Singapore and New York where he headed the trading and sales of fixed income bonds, interest rate and currency swaps and related derivatives.
He is an author of four books on finance, the capital markets and on investment matters. He is a regular columnist for several national newspapers as a well as a regular speaker in international conferences on banking, finance and investments. He has recently been a contributor to a new book “Innovations in Financing Public Services” published in the UK by Palgrave Macmillan in September 2010.
