SEK issues AUD 500 million 5.5-year Kangaroo Benchmark bond

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (Svensk Exportkredit, SEK) successfully priced an AUD 500 million Kangaroo Benchmark bond with a 5.5-year maturity.

“We are very proud of this transaction, which marks SEK’s return to the Kangaroo market with our largest AUD order book to date. The strong result reflects SEK’s solid reputation among international investors, built on SEK’s credit quality and long-standing presence in global capital markets,” said Anna Finnskog, Head of Treasury at SEK.

The bond was priced at 58 basis points over the Australian swap rate. Investor demand was strong and well diversified, both by geography as well as by investor type with a total order book surpassing AUD 1.4 billion. Joint Lead Managers were Daiwa Capital Markets, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Nomura.

This issuance is SEK’s first Kangaroo Benchmark transaction since October 2023.
