Green loan to Jernhusen
Sweden’s largest property company along the railways, state-owned Jernhusen, is investing further in sustainable infrastructure through a green loan agreement with SEK.
SEK, the Swedish Export Credit Corporation, is a state-owned company with a mandate to strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish exports. We provide long-term, competitive financing to Swedish export companies. We also finance the climate transition in Sweden and globally, as well as industries that are important for Swedish exports.
SEK finances Swedish companies that are expanding, investing or entering new or more uncertain markets. Internationalisation and export-driven growth often involve substantial capital needs and can put pressure on a company’s liquidity. Our primary target group is medium-sized and large Swedish companies with annual revenues of at least SEK 500 million.
Investments in production facilities, machinery, warehouses, subsidiaries or raw materials typically require long-term financing. Successful export growth may also lead to increased order volumes that are difficult to fulfil without additional capital.
SEK provides financing that strengthens a company’s ability to carry out investments, manage growth and execute export transactions. Our financing solutions are often used in cooperation with commercial banks and other financial institutions, where SEK complements the market by offering long maturities, stability and competitive terms.
SEK offers a range of financing solutions for Swedish export companies and their international business. Our products can be used for both general corporate financing and for specific transactions or projects.
Our offering includes, among other things:
All financing is structured based on the company’s needs and the characteristics of the transaction and can be combined with bank financing. Read more about our financing solutions.
SEK provides financing. In many transactions, we work in close cooperation with the Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN), which provides state-backed guarantees. By combining financing and guarantees, Swedish export companies can benefit from improved risk management and stronger financing conditions in international markets.
SEK finances Swedish companies across a wide range of industries and markets. Our transactions include everything from investments in production and facilities to financing of large-scale export projects and international establishments.
