SEK issues GBP 325 million in 3-year benchmark
Last week, the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK) priced a new long 3-year 325 million GBP transaction. This was the company’s first GBP benchmark since January 2023.
The orderbook exceeded GBP 470 million, which was the largest orderbook for any Sterling SSA (Sovereign, supranational and agency) transaction from a Nordic issuer to date 2025. The bond pays a coupon of 4.25 percent and was priced at 47 basis points above mid-swaps.
“We are delighted to be able to return to the GBP market after some time’s absence and very pleased with the outcome of this GBP transaction. We are grateful for the investors’ support making this transaction a very pleasing return with great quality and volume in the final orderbook”, says Ann-Marie Ahlén Fihlman, Funding Director at SEK.
The transaction was led by Citi, NatWest and TD.
