Katarina Ljungqvist

Katarina Ljungqvist has been a Board member since 2022. She is also the chair of SEK’s Credit Committee, as well as member of SEK’s Finance and Risk Committee.

Katarina was born in 1965 and holds degrees in economics and law from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Some of her previous positions have been as head of Handelsbanken Digital and head of Business Development Sweden, both co-opted to the Executive Group in Handelsbanken and also Executive Vice President and head of Regional Bank Western Sweden Handelsbanken. Katarina is today Chair of the Board of AMF Tjänstepension AB, Board member of Hufvudstaden AB, Board member of Ernströmsgruppen AB, Hufvudstaden AB and of Svenska Mässan Stiftelse as well as their Supervisory Council.
